Uzbekistan's economy grew by 5,8% in January-June

Uzbekistan's GDP in the first half of the year increased by 5.8% in annual terms. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry of the country Ravshan Gulyamov. The indicator exceeded the forecast of analysts. The inflation rate in the country was 5.6%. Experts of the International Monetary Fund predict the GDP growth in Uzbekistan in 2019 by 5.5% against the background of a significant increase in investment. The government expects that by the end of this year, GDP of Uzbekistan will grow by 5.4%.
