The number of people employed in the US private sector in September increased by 230 thousand people, exceeding the growth predicted by experts by 185 thousand, Automatic Data Processing reported. Small businesses hired 56,000 new employees in a month. In average business, employment increased by 99 thousand people. The number of new jobs in large enterprises amounted to 75 thousand. The largest increase in the number of people employed was in the service sector, where the figure rose by 184 thousand. Companies producing goods, hired 46 thousand new employees in September.
