Unemployment in the US declined to 3.9% in July

The number of jobs in the US economy in July increased by 157 thousand people, the country's Ministry of Labor reported. July's growth has been the slowest since April this year. Analysts had expected an increase of 193 thousand jobs. In July, unemployment in the country fell from 4% to 3.9%, coinciding with the forecasts of experts. The average hourly earnings increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month and by 2.7% in annual terms and amounted to 27 dollars 5 cents. Both indicators also coincided with analysts' estimates. For the period from the beginning of the year to July, the number of employed in the US grew by an average of 215 thousand people per month. Compared with the same period last year, when the figure was 184 thousand, its growth accelerated.
