Unemployment in the UK, calculated according to the methodology of the International Labor Organization, for the period from March to May this year was 4.2%, keeping the minimum level since 1975 recorded in the previous three months. This is evidenced by the data of the Office for National Statistics. For three months, the number of unemployed decreased by 12 thousand to 1 million 410 thousand people. In annual terms, the indicator fell by 84 thousand. The level of employment has reached a maximum value since 1971 in 75.7%, increased by 0.1 percentage points. The number of jobs in the country increased by 137 thousand and amounted to 32 million 400 thousand.
