Between December last year and February of this year, unemployment in the UK declined by 0.2 percentage points to 3.9% from the previous three months. This figure, calculated according to the methodology of the International Labor Organization and which has become minimal since 1975, was reported by the Office for National Statistics. The maximum in the entire history of observations for a specified period was the level of employment, amounting to 76.1%. The number of jobs reached a record level of 32,720,000, an increase of 457,000 in annual terms. The annual growth of the average weekly wage for British without bonuses was at the level of 3.4%, and taking into account bonuses it was 3.5%. In March, unemployment benefit was received by 26,700 British citizens more than in February.
