UK intends to conclude ambitious free trade agreement with the US after Brexit

British Prime Minister Teresa May, at a joint press conference with US President Donald Trump, said that Britain intends to conclude an ambitious trade deal with the United States after Brexit. Earlier, Donald Trump, repeatedly criticizing the existing trade relations of the US with the countries of the European Union, noted that duty-free trade in a number of sectors of the economy leads to a US trade deficit. At a press conference, the British prime minister said: “We agreed today that after the UK withdraws from the European Union, we will conclude an ambitious free trade agreement.”
