UBS predicts that the Fed will raise rates twice in 2019


According to the expectations of UBS Global Wealth Management AG, the Fed will raise the base interest rate twice in 2019. The chief investment officer of the company associates measures to tighten monetary policy with the global downward trend in inflation. Expectations of the Federal Reserve repeat the forecast, although the market is set to maintain the current interest rate. Analysts, nevertheless, expect that the policy of tightening the OST is coming to an end, and the Chinese authorities will even go along the path of softening it.
