UAE started issuing long-term visas to founders of technology start-ups


In the United Arab Emirates, it was decided to issue 5-year resident visas to the founders and owners of the most promising technology companies in order to make the UAE one of the most innovative countries in the world. This was reported on with reference to the post by the emirati edition of The National. UAE authorities intend to issue five-year visas not only to owners and founders of promising start-ups, but also to their three key employees. Participants in the International Economic Forum on the Middle East in Jordan were informed that the talented employees of the first hundred Arab technology start-ups would receive visas. However, technology startups from any other country can get such visas.
