Industrial production in the Czech Republic, excluding adjustments in June, increased by 3.4% in annual terms, according to the Czech Office for National Statistics, finversia, ru reported. The growth of the indicator has been noted for three months in a row. Analysts had expected an increase of only 2%. The volume of production in the mining industry increased in annual terms by 9%, in the manufacturing industry - by 2.1%. Compared with the previous month, industrial production grew by 1.5%, taking into account seasonal fluctuations. The statistical office also reported that in June the growth in production in the construction sector slowed in annual terms to 7.5% from 10.1% in May. Relative to the previous month, the indicator grew by 0.2%.
