The number of industrial orders in the UK declined in September

The monthly balance of production orders in the UK industry in September fell to minus 1 point from 7 points a month earlier, noting a 4-month minimum value, according to a study conducted by the Confederation of British Industry. The number of export orders fell in September to the lowest level since October last year. CBI head of economic intelligence, Anna Leach, notes that uncertainty about Brexit affects the prospects in the British economy, although production continues to grow, and “production order portfolios remain strong”.
