The chain of Haidilao restaurants in China raised 963 million dollars during the IPO


The chain of Haidilao restaurant, one of the largest and most famous in China, held its first public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, during which it raised $963 million, wrote with reference to the message of the local newspaper Standart. The company intends to allocate about 60% of the funds received from the IPO to further expansion of the chain in China and beyond. Hidilao plans in the coming months to increase the number of its restaurants by 180-220 establishments, in the US and Canada as well. Its revenue in 2017 amounted to 1 billion 28 million Hong Kong dollars, having increased by almost 40%.
