The Central Bank of Armenia kept the refinancing rate at 6% per annum. The rate of lombard repo was retained at 7.5%, the rate of attracting cash from banks - at 4.5%. Inflation in Armenia in May this year was 1.1% in annual terms, slowing compared to inflation of 2.1% in April. Relative to April this year, the country recorded a deflation of 1% compared to 0.3% a month earlier. Last time, the Central Bank changed its key rate in February 2017, dropping it from 6.25% to 6%.
