American company Tesla, specializing in the production of electric vehicles, solar cells and other energy storage systems, plans to invest $5 billion in the construction of a plant near Shanghai. The company said that it intends to launch production of a new Tesla Model 3 in China by 2020, Bloomberg reports with reference to informed sources. According to sources, Tesla is considering the possibility of raising funds in China to partially fund the project.
