Taiwan Semiconductor, the world's largest chip maker and one of the main suppliers of American Apple, said that in the first quarter of 2019, its net profit fell almost 3 times compared to the same quarter a year earlier, amounting to 61 billion 400 million new Taiwan dollars. Revenues amounted to 218 billion 700 million new Taiwan dollars, also noting a significant decrease for the year - by 12%.
