Irish airline Ryanair reported the results of the fiscal year ended March 31. The annual reports of the largest in Europe airline discounter was posted by finversia.ru. It is reported that at the end of the earnings period, its net profit amounted to 885 million euros, a decrease of 39% over the year. According to the economists, the figure was expected to be 1 billion euros. Revenue in the amount of 7.56 billion euros showed an annual increase of 6%. The number of passengers transported by the company last year amounted to 139.1 million people, an increase of 7% over the year. The company's report states that the average price of a ticket for its flights, including baggage, was 37 euros, which is 6% less than the price in the previous fiscal year. Ryanair forecasts profit in the next fiscal year ranging from 750 million to 950 million euros.
