Restaurant Brand increased its net profit 1.4 times following the results of the first half of the year

Restaurant Brand International, one of the world's largest operators of fast food chains, increased its net profit 1.4 times year-on-year to $593 million in the first half of the year, reported citing company reports. Revenues amounted to 2 billion 597 million dollars, increased by 21.7% in annual terms. In the second quarter, net profit grew by 29%, revenue – by 18.6%. This increase in sales was noted in all three divisions. Sales of the PLK brand in annual terms increased by 10.7%, Tim Hortons - by 2.2%, Burger King - by 8.4%. At the end of the second quarter, the number of Burger King restaurants increased by 6.4%, Tim Hortons - by 3%, PLK - by 7.5%.
