Restaurant Brand International, one of the world's largest operators of fast food chains, increased its net profit 1.4 times year-on-year to $593 million in the first half of the year, finversia.ru reported citing company reports. Revenues amounted to 2 billion 597 million dollars, increased by 21.7% in annual terms. In the second quarter, net profit grew by 29%, revenue – by 18.6%. This increase in sales was noted in all three divisions. Sales of the PLK brand in annual terms increased by 10.7%, Tim Hortons - by 2.2%, Burger King - by 8.4%. At the end of the second quarter, the number of Burger King restaurants increased by 6.4%, Tim Hortons - by 3%, PLK - by 7.5%.
