Sales of Renault Group vehicles grew by 3.5% last year to 3.88 million units. The integration of the Jinbei and Huasong brands was one of the reasons for the growth in 2018. Sales of the Renault brand declined in 2018 by 5.2% to 2.533 million vehicles. The implementation of the Dacia brand grew by 7%, the Lada brand - by 18.7%. Renault Samsung Motors sales fell 14.9%. Sales of the Jinbei and Huasong brands accounted for more than 165 thousand cars. Sales of Renault cars increased by 37% in 2018, with an increase of 62% in the third and fourth quarters of the year. Sales of light commercial vehicles increased by 33.7% last year thanks to sales of Jinbei and Huasong. Sales growth was recorded in all regions, except Turkey and Argentina. In Europe, where Renault occupies 22% of the market, the company's sales grew by 0.5%. Sales of group cars in Russia grew by 10.9%. Demand for the company's products remained, while sales of the Lada brand grew by 15.6% and exceeded 360 thousand cars. The growth rate of Renault sales in the largest markets exceeded the overall growth of the markets. The company's sales in Africa amounted to 218.797 thousand cars, and the market share rose to 18.1%. The representatives of Renault expect further growth in 2019. In Russia, the company's sales will grow by 3%, in Brazil - by 10%.
