Remy Cointreau increased quarterly revenue by 0.5%

In the first fiscal quarter ended June, revenue of the second-largest producer of alcohol in France Remy Cointreau increased by 0.5% in annual terms to 241.5 million euros, despite the adverse impact of changes in exchange rates. Organic revenue growth, which does not take into account the impact of mergers and acquisitions, asset sales and exchange rate fluctuations, was 5.9% compared to the same period last year. Analysts had predicted an increase of 5.3%. Sales of brandy Remy Martin jumped by 11.1%. During trading on Friday, the stock price of Remy Cointreau rose by 2%.
