Journalists of The Independent initiated a petition calling for a referendum on the final conditions for the withdrawal of Britain from the European Union. The petition has already collected signatures of about 378 thousand Britons, and the collection of signatures continues. The text of the petition says that the British, no matter how they voted in a referendum on the issue of leaving the country from the EU, deserve “the opportunity to express the final opinion on the final agreement”. The document emphasizes: “Now, the facts are becoming obvious. It's time for the people to express their final opinion on the real agreement. And this must be done before it becomes too late”.
