French carmaker PSA Group, the second-largest car manufacturer in Europe after Volkswagen, published a report, according to which, following the results of the first half of this year, 1.903 million cars were sold. Relative to the same period last year, the figure fell by 12.8%. Growth was recorded only in three regions, while the rest showed a decline in sales. In Europe, the figure rose by 0.27%, in India and the Asia-Pacific region - by 2.27%. During the earnings period, the Peugeot brand sold 767.1 thousand cars, which is 23.73% more than a year earlier. Citroen sales grew by 6.38% to 536 thousand cars. The number of cars sold by the brand Opel / Vauxhall amounted to 568 thousand units. Over the year, the figure increased by 0.67%. The company sold 32.2 thousand DS cars, which is 1.45% more than a year earlier.
