Profit and revenue of Boeing exceeded the forecasts in the second quarter

Net profit of the American Boeing in the second quarter increased by 26% in annual terms to $2 billion 200 million. Adjusted earnings per share were 3 dollars 33 cents, which exceeded analysts' forecast of 3 dollars 25 cents per share. Revenues amounted to 24 billion 260 million dollars, increased by 5%. Analysts had expected the figure at the level of 24 billion 40 million dollars. Deliveries of civil aircraft grew in annual terms by 6% to 194 units. The Boeing Commercial Airplanes division increased operating profit by 28%, revenue - by 1%. Revenues from the defense, aerospace and security spheres increased by 9%, but operating profit reduced by 15%.
