Italian fashion house Prada in the first half of 2018 increased its net profit by 10.7% in annual terms to 105 million 700 thousand euros. The profit before tax and interest payments increased by 16% and amounted to 159 million 200 thousand euros. EBITDA increased by 8% to 270 million 800 thousand euros. Revenues amounted to 1 billion 535 million euros, increased by 3.3% in annual terms. The increase in sales was recorded in all regions. In Europe, sales excluding currency fluctuations increased by 7%, in the Asia-Pacific region - by 14%, in the Americas - by 8%, in Japan - by 9%, and in the Middle East - by 7%. As part of the optimization of the retail network, the company has opened 17 and has closed 13 stores since the beginning of 2018.
