LVMH will acquire Belmond for 2 billion 600 million dollars


French company LVMH, which produces luxury goods and owns the Bulgari hotel brand, announced that it had reached an agreement to acquire the British hotel operator Belmond for $2,600 million, writes. The offer in the amount of 25 dollars for each Belmond share is 42% higher than its quotes at the end of trading on Thursday. Belmond manages 36 hotels, as well as the world-famous 21st Club Restaurant. In addition, Belmond provides river cruise services in Europe and Asia and offers trips on an express train plying between Venice and London.
