Qatar Petroleum, the state-owned oil company of Qatar, said it will add the 4th line for natural gas liquefying and increase production by another 10 million tons to 110 million tons per year. As a result, the capacity of the project will increase by 43%, which will give a possibility to produce 32 million tons of LNG a year, 4,000 tons of ethane per day and 260,000 barrels of condensate per day. It is expected that the first batch of liquefied natural gas from the project, which the subsidiary company Qatargas will implement, will be sent at the end of 2023.
