The production of copper mill products in Japan fell by 3.3% in June this year compared to the same month last year and amounted to 70 thousand 434 tonnes, preliminary data from the Copper and Brass Association of the country show. According to preliminary calculations of the Japanese Electric Cable and Cable Makers Association, supplies of copper wire, including exports and the domestic market, rose 3.5% last year to 59,700 tonnes in annual terms. The growth of the indicator is marked for the third consecutive month. The volume of export supplies increased by 43%, deliveries to the domestic market - by 2.5%.
