In connection with the restoration of US sanctions against Iran in the coming months, Tehran plans to withdraw 300 million euros in cash from an account in Germany and send them by air to Iran, the German edition of Bild reported, citing unnamed sources. The finversia.ru project writes that previously German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas stated that the world powers could not fully compensate for Iran's losses after the US restores sanctions. Bild writes that cash is needed to “pass on to Iranian citizens who requrie cash while travelling abroad, give their inability to access recognized credit cards”.
