Food prices in annual terms increased by 2.5%. Energy prices rose by 4.8%. The rise in prices for tobacco products was at the level of 8.1%. Services increased in price by 1%. According to EU standards, annual inflation in France in April was at the level of 1.5%. Compared with March, prices increased by 0.4%.
