Japanese company Honda, one of the world's largest manufacturers of cars and motorcycles, will soon announce plans to close its plant in the city of Swindon in the UK in 2022, Sky News reported. The report notes that the termination of the plant in the British city will lead to the dismissal of 3.5 thousand workers. According to Reuters, this plant produced in 2018 about 160 thousand Honda Civic models. In the total volume of cars produced in the UK, this number is just over 10%.
