The International Air Transport Association (IATA) reported that the growth in the volume of world passenger air travel accelerated in March to 9.5% in annual terms from 7.6% in February. The March growth rate was the highest for the last year. Record load factors showed all regions except the Middle East. The Asia-Pacific region again showed the largest growth in air transportation - by 12%. In the Middle East, the indicator rose by 10.6%, in Europe - by 9.5%, in Latin America - by 8.5%. The growth in the volume of international passenger traffic in March accelerated to 10.6% from 7.2% in February. The growth rate of domestic passenger air transportation declined in annual terms to 7.8% from 8.2% a month earlier.
