In the second quarter of 2018, shipments of personal computers in the world increased by 2.7% in annual terms and amounted to 62 million 270 thousand units, according to the International Data Corporation. Quarterly growth rates have become the highest since the first quarter of 2012. The growth in supplies significantly exceeded the forecasts of analysts who had expected an increase of 0.3%. Increase in sales in annual terms was recorded by each of the top five PC manufacturers, as a result, their share was 78% of the global market. In aggregate, the increase in their sales was 7%.
