The index of the current economic situation in Germany fell to 104.3 points from 104.9 points in December. Analysts polled by Reuters, expected the fall to 104.2 points. The value of December, on the contrary, was revised upwards from 104.7 points. The index of economic expectations fell to 94.2 points from 97.3 points in November. According to experts, the figure should have dropped only to 97 points.
