The confidence index in the manufacturing industry in France amounted to 105 points in November, up from 104 points in the previous month, statistical office Insee reported. In the previous two months, there was a decrease in the indicator, which, however, remained above its long-term value of 100 points. Experts had not expected changes in the October index value. In November, French manufacturing enterprises improved their past and future production estimates. Whereas a month earlier, this figure dropped significantly. However, their optimism about the prospects for the sector weakened.
