The revenue of the French company LVMH, the world's largest manufacturer of luxury goods, in the first quarter of 2019 showed an increase of 16% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 12 billion 538 million euros. The company recorded an increase in sales in all regions. Their organic growth was 11%. At the same time, the fashion segment showed the most significant revenue growth to 5 billion 111 million euros, an increase of 20%. Alcoholic beverages were sold in the amount of 1 billion 349 million euros, which is 13% more than a year earlier. Retail chains reported quarterly revenue of 3 billion 510 million euros, a growth of 13%. Sales of perfumes and cosmetics increased by 12%, watches and jewelry - by 9%.
