At the G7 summit in Quebec, the European Union and the United States agreed to form a mechanism for dialogue on trade in the next two weeks to overcome the existing contradictions, the representative of France told reporters. According to the experts, the disagreements caused by the decision of US President Donald Trump to introduce increased import duties on steel and aluminum for European partners and Canada could undermine the alliance relations within the G7. French President Emmanuel Macron said that, in his opinion, there is a way of solving problems in trade issues. At the same time, the French president noted: “But this is the way to achieve progress together”.
