Norwegian state-owned oil and gas company Equinor announced the start of gas production at the Aasta Hansteen field in the Norwegian Sea and the sending of the first batch of gas that has already entered the market on Monday. This field is one of the largest in the Norwegian Sea. Gas reserves in it, extracted from seven wells on 3 underwater support plates, will allow Equinor to carry out long-term export of Norwegian gas. It is reported that about 55 billion 600 million cubic meters of gas and 600 thousand cubic meters of condensate are available for extraction.
