Employment in the private sector of the US grew in May worse than it was expected

The number of jobs in the private sector of the US increased by 178,000 in May, the ADP Research Institute reported. Analysts had expected a larger increase in the number of jobs - by 190,000. In the service sector, 114,000 jobs were created in May. Private construction companies increased the number of employees by 39 thousand people, enterprises of the extractive industry - by 11 thousand people. At large enterprises, 56 thousand new jobs were created. In medium-sized companies, 84 thousand new employees were hired, in small companies - 38 thousand employees. As previously reported, in April the number of jobs in the US economy grew by 164 thousand.
