From 13 July to 19 July the quantity of active oil drilling rigs in the US decreased by 5 units to 799 units according to Baker Hughes oilfield services company. The amount of gas production rose in 2 units to 174 units. The total number of oil drilling rigs declined by 4 units to 954 ones. According to Baker Hughes the total number of drilling rigs in the US reduced by 5 units to 958 units. At the same time, the quantity of oil rigs reduced by 4 units to 784 ones. The experts notice that the drilling activity decline in the US is a consequence of falling oil prices.
