The French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies reported that in November, consumer confidence in the French economy dropped from 95 points in October to 92 points, the lowest level since February 2015. According to experts, the decline was expected to decrease only to 94 points. Consumers' assessment of their own financial situation was at the level of 18 points, having decreased by 2 points from the October figure. The indicator, which determines the French perception of their standard of living, dropped by 11 points and amounted to minus 42 points. The indicator characterizing the purchasing power, dropped by 6 points to minus 14 points. At the same time, unemployment expectations amounted to 27 points, showing a significant increase against 6 points a month earlier.
