Experts had expected the index to grow to 13.4 points. The indicator of the current situation has improved to 37.3 points from 36.8 points. The index of expectations rose to minus 5.8 points from minus 10 points. Experts at Sentix noted that the data for August indicate the emergence of a certain clarity in the trade dispute with the US after the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker reached agreements during negotiations with US President Donald Trump.
