Third straight loss - The month of July is no exemption for China’s manufacturing activity downfall in rates as the official government data revealed on Wednesday.
China Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) for the month of July posted 49.7, relatively higher than that of June in 49.4 but still below the 50-point mark while Non-manufacturing index for this month fell at 53.7 compared to last month’s 54.2
The Shanghai Composite was down by 0.6% while the Shenzen Component was also weak with 0.7% decrease.
The data was released from the Chinese statistics bureau.
