American company Caterpillar, specializing in the production of construction and mining equipment, engines and industrial turbines, following the results of 9 months of this year, showed an increase in net profit 2.5 times to 5 billion 99 million dollars. Revenues amounted to 40 billion 380 million dollars. Its growth in annual terms is fixed at 24%. The company's net profit in the third quarter also showed a significant increase – 1.6 times to 1 billion 727 million dollars. Earnings per share rose to 2 dollars 88 cents. Quarterly revenue of $13 billion 510 million dollars exceeded the forecasts of experts, who had expected 13 billion 240 million dollars. Annual growth was 18.4%.
