In May this year, production of cars in the UK increased by 1.3% in annual terms to 137 thousand 225 units due to domestic demand, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders said. The production for domestic buyers increased by 12.8%. At the same time, the export issue decreased by 1.5%. For foreign markets, 107 thousand 307 cars were produced, which accounted for 78.2% of the total production of cars in the country.
