Canadian BlackBerry, which specializes in the production of mobile devices and mobile security, announced that it intends to acquire American company Cylance, working in the field of artificial intelligence and cyber security, for $1 billion 400 million. According to finversia.ru, BlackBerry has signed a corresponding agreement with the American company. It has yet to obtain regulatory approval for the deal, which the companies plan to complete before February 2019. Under the terms of the deal, Cylance will continue its operations as part of a Canadian company as its division.
