According to estimates of German concern Bayer, its sales for the current year will amount to 44 billion 600 million euros. And next year, the company expects growth of 4% to 46 billion euros. The company plans that in subsequent years until 2022, the annual sales increase will average 4-5%. Werner Baumann, Chairman of the Board of Management of Bayer, stated that the forecast was based on the transformation of the main brands in the health care and food additives units. The company has already sold the veterinary drugs division and now intends to sell the business of manufacturing foot care products and accessories. The company's cost reduction program also includes the sale of a 60% stake in Currenta and a reduction of around 12,000 employees worldwide.
