Apple Inc. impels suppliers to launch 5G iPhone
Nikkei Asian Review said on Wednesday that smartphone giant Apple Inc. is rallying its suppliers to introduce its first 5G iPhone.
“It will be the first time Apple introduces %G iPhones… There will be three of them and the company has set an aggressive sales target,” the source said.
Three new iPhone models will be featuring 5G modem chip designed by Qualcomm Inc, as Nikkei added.
Apple and Qualcomm have yet to confirm the development.
